Me-Time - It Can Be Quick and Easy!

Recently I hosted my annual workshop for women here at the Oregon Coast. We enjoyed tea, organic raw chocolate, quick and easy yoga and tons of tips on de-stressing and manifesting what you want in your life.

It was delightful to spend time with a group of heart-centered, amazing women. I shared my 5 Steps to DeStress-Manifest and we dived deep into each step with lots of tips for each one. (Get your own copy of the Guided Meditation of the 5 Steps here.)

The most important point I stress during the workshop is that Me-Time doesn’t have to take long. It doesn’t need to be a weekend retreat or spa-day. What does Me-Time look like to you? It can be done in just 2 minutes a day. The 5 Steps to DeStress-Manifest are meant to be done in only 2 to 12 minutes. You can feel refreshed, relaxed and re-energized in just a few minutes.

When you take 2 minutes for yourself to just breathe deeply and connect with your heart and your feelings, you shift your energy. You start moving the stuck-energy in your body and mind out! By allowing yourself 2 minutes you create a practice; a habit that then becomes a part of your life.

Each day I take 2 minutes to do a sun-salutation and followed by 2 minutes of meditation. I also take 2 minutes to visualize myself completing my top goal for the week. It’s quick and easy!

Manifestation tip: When you take time to visualize, write down and talk about what you want, it easily manifests. (You may have restricting beliefs that block the manifesting – contact me to find out more about how to get unstuck from them).

Me-Time becomes much more doable and more likely to be a part of your life when you put it into bite-size chunks of 2 minutes.

Try it!

Take 2 minutes each day to do one of the following:

  • Light a candle and think about what you DO want.
  • Breathe deeply.
  • Stretch your body.
  • Visualize your goals.
  • Pray.
  • Do some sun salutations (yoga).
  • Meditate.
  • Journal.
  • Sit quietly and listen within and around you – be curious.
  • What will you do for 2 minutes of Me-Time?
