Happy Holidays!
This time of year is often hectic and busy with holiday shopping, traveling, events, etc. So I thought I’d share a bit of cheerful wisdom with you.
As I took a few minutes this morning to relax and enjoy some time with
my darling cat, she imparted the following wisdom to me, that seems
quite relevant for the holidays …
1. Make time for cuddles, kisses and cozy times to just be next to those dear to you.
2. Know when you are ‘full‘ then take personal time (to bathe, nap, stretch, look out the window, be quietly with yourself).
3. Communicate clearly and compassionately (she is very vocal with her meows) to let others know what you want.
4. Purr loudly .. let others know how much you appreciate giving and receiving love and kindness. (Floaty-twisty pose also communicates this .. see photo below).
5. Remember to have fun and play. It’s a great way to balance being active
with resting and quiet time.
How about you? What’s on your mind?
